SINGER-SONGWRITER
John Mascaro is a singer-songwriter and poet. He cut his teeth raised in New York City playing the clubs of Greenwich Village and fronting several rock bands throughout his teens and early twenties. His music centers on the folk, rock, and Americana genres that made the 1960's and early '70s critically important times in music by intertwining current events & political issues into poignant artistic statements. Country and Christian themes also routinely find their way into his original song mix. He is a member of the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers and occasionally performs in dramatic & musical theatre as well as on radio & television.
Happily married with five children, John splits his time between New York City and Northwest Florida. He is presently in the studio working on his second musical project.
